Poor Boy - The Euro Push
As part of getting some promotion in Europe, The Good Intentions are collaborating with Peter Holmstedt, of Hemifran. He is pushing the CD using many contacts at
Radio Stations and other agencies across the continent..

Scott Poley Joins TGI
Following an appearance on Radio Merseyside, TGI were contacted by
Scott Poley, a graduate of LIPA, the centre of excellence in performing
arts in Liverpool. Scott is not only a fine pedal steel player, but plays a
host of other instruments including the mandolin and electric guitar.
His influence has been very positive and the pedal steel has added
another dimension to the sound of TGI.

The 4th of July - The Maverick Song Contest
This is not only a significant date for our friends across the pond, but it is
now the date on which The Good Intentions new song 'Black Train' won the
Song Contest at the Maverick Country Music Festival. Peter and Scott
travelled down to Suffolk to perform the song, and despite the competition, were awarded the title. This a fine achievement and worthy recogntion for Peter Davies' songwriting, and another step forward, in what has been a fabulous year for The Good Intentions. Gabi has been pushing for more gigs and we have been playing more lately than ever before.

Recent gigs
We have really pushed for gigs this year and amongst them we have played The IPO Festival in Mathew Street, Liverpool, The Crosby Music Festival,
The Maverick Music Festival. Another significant
recent gig was held at the View Two Gallery in
Mathew Street, this was organised with the help
of Liverpool based singer songwriter Stuart Todd.
The Good Intentions played as support for Eric
Brace and Peter Cooper, Nashville based alt.
country band, whist they were on tour in the UK.
TGI are beginning to pick up gigs further afield
in the UK and possibly in France later in the year.

Peter is currently working on several new songs,
we also have some of these in the pipeline for a
possible new album in the near future.
We are working furiously on arrangements
for these and hope to be performing them live
before too long.
